After cleanup. I'm going to use Meguiars to scrub and wax the area under the fuel tank, so that the crud that washes into this area will hopefully keep moving around the tank to the big hole that drops into the bilge, and out the dran plug.

Thanks for the picture. I also own a 17 SC and had no idea that the drain to the bilge was such a small diameter hole. I suspect that all the sea weed and fish blood that I've hosed down off the deck is now coagulated under my tank.
I hope you enjoy your boat as much as I enjoy mine. I took mine halibut fishing yesterday off the Oregon Coast 25 miles each way! Talk about a seaworthy small boat!
